A lot of visual lessons are required sometimes to make associations in the minds of the punished sometimes. The broken Keith Jones paddle that I reinvented into the crescent moon paddle, symbolizes Hailey’s need to step outside her perceived notion as to who she was, in turn reinventing the version of herself she needed to be. Her wardrobe taking her back to a simpler time of her life and the understanding that tears show a disciplinarian that a lesson is being learned, at the same time cleansing the negativity that takes over a woman looking for a better self. These are the many often overlooked facets of true disciplinary spankings.
